LIBRARY RULES
- Users must maintain silence inside the library.
- Students must be in complete college uniform to avail any kind of library facility.
- Students must compulsorily attend the Library Orientation Class held at the beginning of the session to get the library card.
- If the library card is lost by a student, it must be immediately brought to the notice of the librarian. Duplicate library card may be issued after payment of Rs. 50/-.
- All kinds of personal belongings except notebook are supposed to be kept in the property counter at the entrance.
- Mobile phone is permissible only in silent/vibration mode.
- No book should be replaced by the user themselves on the stack while browsing. Books once picked out from the stack should be left in the reading table if not issued out.
- Users should carefully examine the physical condition of the books at the time of issue. If the book is lost and found damaged or mutilated at the time of return the user have to replace the book with a new one or pay a fine amounting five times of the cost of the book.
- Students must clear all library dues towards the end of the session. Otherwise they will not be issued admit cards to appear in the ensuing examination.
- If the books are not retuned on or before the date stamped, a fine of Re. 1/- per day per book is charged. The user will be forfeited the right to borrow books until such fines are paid in full.
- Underlining, marking, folding of pages etc. in the book is strictly prohibited.
- The librarian reserves the right to suspend or delinquent membership of any member found misbehaving, abusing the library staff or behaving in an indecent manner, tearing of pages/stealing books or otherwise mutilating books and any infringement of the library rules.
